“ Great food choices, amazing staff and service, especially Heather and Rachel! This is a great place to see amazing talented musical artists with great atmosphere! ”
“ Friendly staff and customer service helpful and efficient . Love the saloon eclectic vibe with blend of old and artsy hanging chandeliers and lighting. Really enjoyed the perfectly deep fried fish & chips! Potatoe soup hit the spot! ”
“ The Geezer Gig last night at Crazy Horse was a blast. FANTASTIC music!! band. Awesome! ”
“ Stumbled into this place as other places we tried first were full. Glad the others were full because this place was amazing. The Bartender Rachel ran the front of house alone. Have no idea how but she was attentive and efficient. Amazing service. The food was also great. Everyone at our table of four loves their food and drinks. Food was not just good but really good. I had a house salad with steak. Literally the best salad I had. Homemade dressing and sauces. Love the ambiance. Dive bar-ish but fun and clean. This will be my go to spot whenever I come here from now on. Thanks Crazy Horse for a great lunch. ”
“ The bartender/servers work hard here! They greet, provide menu, mix drinks, provide place settings, take orders, and clear bills. At least on the day we visited. It is a very cozy spot with eclectic decor. We loved our brats, drinks and cubano. As first timers, we weren't sure, but it is totally kid friendly during the day. Thanks for the great food and wonderful service! ”
“ I got lucky and there were a few tables when I arrived on a Friday night. It got busy quickly. The tots were the best! Burger was good and so were the jalapeño poppers. The staff were friendly and attentive enough. Would have loved to see the band play but I was exhausted and went back to my hotel before they started. Overall a great experience. ”
“ Visited Ananda Village to see the tulips and after touring the gardens for a couple of hours decided we were famished. We checked Yelp of course for a good place to eat in Nevada City. It is a beautiful little town and there were lots of available choices but we settled on the Crazy Horse saloon. They have a great happy hour but unfortunately we were too early. They have signature drinks that sounded delicious for $4 and $5. I think we'll have to go back just to try the happy hour. For lunch we ordered from the menu and tried the Crazy Horse hamburger which was massive. It's definitely for a big appetite. My two companions decided on the Patty Melt with fried onions on sourdough bread. It was also a huge sandwich. As a side you get a choice of very, very delicious crispy french fries, tater tots which we did not try, house salad or a cup of soup. Today's soup was very thick and tasty ham and split pea. Of course we had to take most of our food home as it was just too much to eat for our appetites. The place was full and bustling and everyone was greeted as soon as they entered. We had one waitress for the dining room and bar but she was attentive and friendly and didn't leave us alone for more than a few minutes at a time. I recommend this restaurant when you're in the mood for great bar food in Nevada City. It's a really cute bar decorated in an old western style and the ambience is exactly what you would expect. ”
“ I found this place thanks to Yelp after making a spur of the moment day trip to Nevada City. Upon walking in it has a welcoming vibe. Oh how I wish we were staying the night so I could have enjoyed some live music. I am always excited when I find a place that serves turkey burgers and when I saw there was an option for tater tots I was over the moon. The service was fast and friendly and they made us feel like a welcomed local. Now for the real test...the tater tots arrived and they had the perfect crunch! You know how sad a soggy tater tots can be. This girl was happy. They also had some local delicious beers on tap and I always like to try local brews. I am so happy we found this place. Simple and friendly, with good food and good beer. ”
“ 4.5 out of 5 Came here last minute and glad my fellow yelpers recommended this place For the food I'll give this above average bar food! Their chile de arbol chicken wings are pretty good! They are above average in the spicy meter so if you like your wings with a strong kick you'll enjoy these! Their service isn't quick but you are in a bar! They have 1 person running the show in the front so give a few minutes when placing your orders, no complaints though! For the vibe, you'll get a dark setting with some killer jams. I couldn't tell if they had a music booth to pay-to-play a song request but they had daft punk, Kansas, to other classics. Definitely a spot to catch up with friends or take a date to. They have posters promoting upcoming shows, they have a small stage area for musicians so you might be able to catch a gig on one of those days. ”
